The ethnically diverse, 69-acre neighbourhood of Regent Park is quaintly bounded by Gerrard Street East to the north, Queen Street East to the south, Parliament Street to the west, and the Don River to the east. Residents of Regent Park are often from a range of different cultural backgrounds, providing a community for many new migrant populations from Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

A current revitalization project is being undertaken in Regent Park, promising to bring a mixture of affordable housing, condominiums, and new community spaces. Community associations are also emerging to promote the new cultural development and healthy exchanges within Regent Park.
